How we use arXiv

We use arXiv's public APIs to fetch paper metadata and source archives (LaTeX/PDF). We comply with arXiv's Terms of Use for the API and arXiv's general policies, including request rate limits and bulk-access guidelines.

Arxlate is an independent product. We are notaffiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by arXiv.org, Cornell University, or any arXiv contributor. The use of the word “arxiv” in our product name is purely descriptive of the kind of papers we translate.

Licensing of translated papers

Translated papers retain the licensing terms of the original. Most arXiv papers are submitted under arXiv's non-exclusive license to distribute; some authors choose Creative Commons (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC, CC0) or another open license. The licence shown on the original arXiv abstract page is authoritative.

Before redistributing or publishing a translation, please check the original paper's license. A translation is a derivative work and is only permitted to the extent the original license allows it.

Author opt-out / takedown

If you are an author of an arXiv paper and would like your work removed from our cache, email support@arxlate.com from an address associated with the paper (or include a verifiable arXiv account link). We will remove cached translations and metadata within 7 days and add the paper to a deny-list to prevent future re-translation.

Attribution we display

Every translated paper view includes the original arXiv ID, a link to the original abstract page, the authors as listed on arXiv, and the license string returned by the arXiv API.
